Delete account

In the app, in the browser or by email — you don’t need to reinstall anything.

Here’s how

  1. Sign in In the app or at app.checkdeinereparatur.de. Forgotten your password? Reset it there.
  2. Open “Your account” Further down you’ll find the “Delete account” card.
  3. “Request deletion” A reason is optional. The request is logged and can be withdrawn at any time until it’s carried out.

We delete within 30 days and will be in touch as soon as it’s done.

No access to your account?

Email support@checkdeinereparatur.de with the subject “Delete account”, ideally from your account’s address. We first check that the request comes from you.

What is deleted

  • Account with email address and sign-in
  • Saved vehicles with photos and registration documents
  • Marketplace requests with photos, replies and conversations
  • Radius for alerts about new partner workshops
  • Blocks and the feedback you sent us
  • Notification settings and device identifiers
  • The link between your repair jobs and your account

What remains — and why

  • Repair documentation held by the workshop (timeline, steps, parts, sealed photos and videos): kept apart from your account for as long as the law requires retention.
  • Log of security-relevant events: only who did what and when (and the reason, if documentation was hidden) — no photos, no messages.
  • Content reports we have decided on: for up to twelve months after our decision.

Legal bases: privacy policy (in German), sections on deleting your account and on storage periods.

Just an invitation, no account?

Then there is no account to delete: the session ends after 24 hours, the invitation after 30 days, and the workshop can revoke it at any time. The workshop manages the repair job data — to have it deleted, contact the workshop.

For workshops

If it’s an owner’s account, we first check with you who will carry on running the business — otherwise we deactivate the workshop. You end the subscription yourself under “Your account” → “Workshop subscription” → “Manage payment”; at the latest, we end it with the deletion.
